Beyond amazing. Closest I’ve had to a Japanese experience outside of Japan. Accuracy to the izakaya styles of shinjuku and shibuya is crazy, with the added epic scenery in the back with some old Japan styled decorations and a fake Sakura tree. The food is a bit pricer than store nearby but def worth it, as the quality is far better. The speed at which the food came out after ordering was great and the menu selection is pretty large, so great for a large group and/or people with largely different tastes. Did a random spot selection for a birthday dinner and now this is def a continuous return spot.

So this is after my second visit here, both times during weekdays. First off, the price here is very cheap. You can chug a Blue Label on a rock for only $30 a pop. For reference to whiskey lovers, they used to be $40~$50 a glass back in ~2020 in the city. I'm an Izakaya-goer, particularly for the ones in NYC as I rarely go to any venues in Flushing but this place is on par, if not better than some places around midtown. The quality of food is what you can expect from an Izakaya standard, especially for its low price point. It's technically a sake bar with some small portion dishes to fill you up with. You're not paying for Cote or Howoo KBBQ quality, let's be real. The atmosphere, I love the oriental yet contemporary touch they have for the rooms and the hallway, particularly the bar. And speaking of the bar, the attentiveness of the staff can be pretty inconsistent at the bar. I had some few trouble getting someone to take additional orders or close out my tab as I wasn't just hollering at a random staff, considering they're probably all assigned to certain tables. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really cool. The restaurant is decorated with a lot of posters and it’s pretty spacious. Would definitely recommend the appetizers. Tip was calculated on tax though

I've been craving Japanese izakaya food for so long and glad I stopped by. The yakitori was decently priced and there were a lot of options. The food was flavorful and the cocktails were beautiful and delicious. I will definitely go back with more friends! Just be sure to book a reservation or you will have to wait a while! We ended up sitting at the bar but the bartenders were so nice and fun! The only thing I would suggest they rethink is the music selection. The volume was great, didn't distract from our conversation. But when I did catch the music in my ear it was the same birthday songs over and over? Maybe just the day I went. But othet than that the vibe was great. Decor was amazing!

Nice Japanese restaurant with great ambience and decor. I had yellowtail carpaccio, 1/2 dozen raw oysters, and some nigiri (which are sold as individual pieces). It was all very good. The oysters were on the small side, but they were a happy hour special at the bar. Bartender was very nice, but she was pretty busy. I liked the place a lot and will probably hit it again before I leave.
